As silly as it sounds, a shopping trolley from my new partner as he doesn’t do gifts and isn’t romantic but he knows I don’t drive and mine had broken a month earlier and the crazy man braved all the shops to find the sturdiest one he could for me and presented to me like he had given me an expensive piece of jewellery.

We usually go out to the theatre and then for a nice meal at our favourite restaurant. Well he’s my ex now (still friends and I often go to his house and have coffee with him and his wife lol). But he booked tickets to go and see my favourite football team play (he supports someone completely), had booked a hotel away for the night, hired a “posh” car and finally arranged it, so my work colleague asked me to change shifts with her so I could go. Was an amazing night and although isn’t romantic for some people, it meant a lot.
