Today I got absolutely soaked, an umbrella was no good whatsoever with the wind.  Autumn has arrived with a vengeance and not far behind we will have winter.  Winter an the bitter cold means lovely cozy jumpers and oh so soft teddy coats!  But your winter wardrobe doesn’t top there.  When you have the bitter north wind blowing thinking about accessories is a must.  This season I wanted to share with you some lovely items I came across in JD Williams while browsing the internet.  So stay indoors, grab a cuppa and let me share with you my favourite fashion accessories that will have you looking super chic but also protect you come rain, snow or hail!

Bobble hat

Fight off the chills in this super cute light pink bobble hat with ribbed detail.  The plume on the top is here to stay this season and having it in light pink really does add a splash of colour!  My suggestion is to order two in different colours to mix and match depending on how you feel!  Wear it with your favourite black cashmere jumper, jeans and black boots. You will look super stylish.

Leather gloves

Super stylish are leather gloves!  These black leather gloves also have detachable fur so you really are getting two for the price of one!  My favourite has to be black for versatility.  They are a lovely addition to  your wardrobe and you will have warmth all winter long with these.

Colourful scarf

For all trendsetters, this checked scarf is a statement piece this year with tartan everywhere.  It will keep you warm this winter and with so many stunning colours will be so versatile in your wardrobe. metallic puffy accessory is the statement piece your closet is missing—warm and cool at the same time.

Not sure you suit a hat?  Don’t worry these earmuffs are here to keep your ears warm!  These ones are super cozy, soft and fluffy.  One you give earmuffs a go you will keep coming back to them.  Not to mention they are so fun!

Opaque tights are a must in the winter if you are wearing skirts. You can rock them with dresses too. They can add a touch of style to any outfit in different colours too without overpowering it.

These are just a few of my favourite items.  I hope you have felt inspired to go beyond the usual accessories this year.  Nailing what to wear during winter can be tricky.  When the temperatures drop it’s hard to focus on anything but staying warm.

Armed with the items above dressing in the cold weather has never been as easy.  You can mix and match the above items with other things in your wardrobe.  Oh and don’t forget visit the JD Williams deals page on Black Friday to see if any of the above items are on sale!
